The call targeted individuals or legal entities active in business between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2021, with headquarters in any municipality of the Barcelona metropolitan area. Applicants were required to showcase innovative and\/or technological initiatives in the product or service commercialization phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the fiercely competitive category of best business initiative in the industry sector, Mapsi Photonics emerged victorious. Our specialization in manufacturing optical filters for gas detection and process monitoring at high temperatures has set us apart. Utilizing macroporous silicon, our process offers simplicity, cleanliness, and cost-effectiveness compared to current technology, as it avoids the use of contaminating materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mapsi Photonics remains steadfast in our focus on the infrared detection market, with industrial, environmental, and medical applications driving our innovation forward.
